I’ve been inside this government compound only once or twice. Although it doesn’t look big, the national television, TVK, is also housed inside this compound.

  1. I’m more interested in what he’s selling.

    • Hi Ewok.
The vendor is selling a local savoury rice cake made from glutinous rice, coconut milk, spring onions and seasonings. It is fried or grilled and goes with a simple fish sauce, fresh chopped chillies, and pepper to taste.

  2. It is a very simple sign, isn’t it?

    • Lesley, indeed it is for a government building! But soon it will be taken down when the budget arrives for the construction of a new one 🙂

  3. His shirt is the same color. Nice catch.

  4. i like the vendor at the foreground.:p what is he selling?

  5. Interesting how the sign is framed in a salmon pink wall like an addition to the grey building!

  6. I’n surprised it’s also in English.

  7. It would be helpful for me to have the English translation since like most of us over here, I unfortunately have only one language. So it seems like they really do want to provide information! (I read your comment about what the vendor is selling and I would love to try that!)

  8. Lovely composition. Liked seeing the man in front…such a different way of life. genie
