white-lipped viper

White-lipped vipers have a vibrant green colour. A few paces away, I thought it was a green ribbon.

Saw this dead snake lying on the footpath while walking the dog last Thursday morning. My husband went back to take a photo of it and searched on Google to find out what kind of snake it was. It turns out it was a white-lipped viper. IN THE CITY. Scary.

Go to Wordless Wednesday for more entries.

The heavens could not decide, it seemed. The following night, however, it rained, much to our delight. It cooled down everything.
