APAD 314: HTC
High Tech Cambodia. Ahem.

Back from a long absence. We temporarily suspended our subscription with our ISP due to a very poor service. It took more than three weeks to settle the issue, that meant three weeks without Internet as well. So I missed a rather great deal of posts here, please excuse.
Now that I am back, I’m picking up from where I left off. I’m starting again with the Mellow Yellow Monday meme.
See you all again next week.

The national election will be held next month. Since last week, supporters of the different political parties in Cambodia have staged campaign activities all over the country.
Last Friday, these campaigners caused a huge traffic jam along the capital’s major thoroughfares. Are they pretty or not? You be the judge.
These villas are located in one of the newly completed exclusive subdivisions in the reclaimed Koh Pich(Diamond Island) just behind the Sofitel Pokeethra Hotel in Phnom Penh. I heard these villas are sold in ridiculously high prices (with a special rate allegedly beginning at $1000,000) per unit. There are also smaller villas as well as apartment units and they are also in yellow. I don’t why the chosen colour is yellow but it seems to me that yellow is NOW the colour of exclusivity.
APAD 287: Great day for kite-flying
It’s the height of summer here in Phnom Penh and my husband and I found a new activity to do… it’s kite-flying!
Does kite-flying appeal to you?
The trick to this great summer activity is to find a nice spot with a steady breeze. Or pick a day that is just windy, pack some sandwiches and drinks and let the kite-flying fun begins.
It was one of the best things my husband and I has ever done together in Phnom Penh. I’m sure the fun we had will be best remembered as we grow older in the years to come.
How about you, what’s your favourite activity to do during summer?
