This was intended for the Women’s Day post but I got buried under tons of office work. Anyways, here it goes… a salute to the Cambodian women who go through many sacrifices and discrimination. I support the continuing struggle for the empowerment of women in Cambodia.

A Khmer Wedding

Two of my colleagues got married last weekend. They’re only in their early 20s. They met in the office.  She is dusky and very pretty. He is skinny but cute and a really nice guy. No wonder she fell in love with him. We never suspected they’re an item so when they handed out the invitation to their wedding, we were surprised, pleasantly, of course. Here are some pictures  I took on their wedding reception:
