>Phnom Penh viewed from Chroy Changvar Bridge

This is Phnom Penh. I live here for more than 9 years now, and, everyday I feel that the landscape changes, no thanks to recent construction developments. Soon, western-styled apartment buildings will replace old colonial buildings and traditional Khmer houses, thus losing a big part of the Cambodian heritage and culture 🙁

  1. >Happy WW!

  2. >I can imagine it will change and not necessarily for the better. Great shot!

  3. >I just was listening to a story about the evictions at Boeung Kak lake. While there are many changes for the good in Phnom Penh (the first time I visited was in 1994), others are not so good.
