APAD 260: Cheang Chea Sea Shop
When you’re in Cambodia, or other countries with Buddhist as the official religion, shops such as Cheang Chea Sea are everywhere. Cheang Chea Sea is probably the shop owner’s name and they sell Buddhist religious stuff such as images of Buddha and other deities, ritual paraphernalia and other Buddhism-related items.
Details included in the sign are the name of the shop, best-selling products, as well as the shop address and contact numbers. However, only the name of the shop and the shop location and contact numbers are in English. The rest are in Khmer script.

Luckily for me, there are Indian spices available in the city. One of them is this shop in central Phnom Penh where I can get a whole lot of spices and other Indian/South Asian provisions.

One of the signs that caught my attention as I was checking the day’s activities and volunteers during the screening day of Operation Smile Cambodia’s recently-concluded international mission at the Smile Center. There on the dentist’s table this sign was posted – how fun!
Our volunteer dentists for this mission were from South Africa and Egypt. They were both young and energetic lads and so fun to watch as they do their magic with our patients.
