Skywatch Friday: Tower crane

This was taken last year, if I am not mistaken. A cloudy sky served as the background to this giant tower crane I passed by along the Chroy Changvar bridge in Phnom Penh.

A boat cruises along the coast of Kep in southern Cambodia. The islet in the background (right side of the photo) is very visible on this good weather and it, according to locals, belongs to Vietnam.
Skywatch Friday: Dreary
To be honest, I kinda like this weather. I call it the lazy weather – it’s wet outside and cold (but not as cold as experienced in the West)- and a very good excuse to stay in bed, with a book to read on one hand and warm chocolate beverage on the other to give me warmth. This is the very reason why, when I was younger, my dad coined me another nickname, the snake, lol.

The fishermen are on their way to work. And their workplace is this wide expanse of the Gulf of Thailand.
We’re off to another road trip down the southern coast of Cambodia, to Kep province where the seafood are fresh and plenty and the town is quiet and laidback.
