Look, ma, no protective gloves! And you know what made my guts almost jump out of my throat when I saw this – the motorcycle was teetering dangerously and the Phnom Penh traffic is infamously crazy. Argh.
I dare not imagine the scenario if something untoward happened that moment.

GAH. I see my fair share of crazy here in Thailand too. The other night, I was appalled to see a dad on a motorbike with his daughter, who couldn’t have been more than 5 or 6 years old, and she was busy playing on a tablet on the back of the motorbike. Not holding on to her dad at all. Of course no helmet. Just playing a game on her tablet that she could have easily dropped in front of another motorist…and nothing to protect her if her dad had to swerve or turn quickly or if he hit any gravel. Awesome.
seems chaotic but cambodia is still in my bucket list.
