APAD 240: Same-same but different
Pho is the national noodle soup of the Vietnamese. It’s traditionally eaten at breakfast but it’s also a popular lunch, dinner or snack item. I’ve had pho before – the awesome broth with wafts of ginger and other herbs and slices of beef with rice noodles never fail to make my stomach happy at all times.
The other week, I was introduced to another kind of Vietnamese soup. I forgot what it is called now but it’s got the similar awesome aromatic soup and noodles – if not for the copious amounts of kopi (or was it prahok) for seasoning.
