The Sisowath Quay and the riverside areas in Phnom Penh are two of the places where a large concentration of bars and restaurants are located. During daytime, it looks like this. Traffic could be worse at certain times of the day.

Typical street scene in Phnom Penh’s riverside, taken just last month.

The moment the sun goes down this part of the city comes alive as tourists and locals and expats alike come down here for a good night out. Across the establishments,  the riverfront has also become more popular to promenaders and health buffs as there are several exercise machines installed there recently.

  1. Looks like a lovely place to stroll and enjoy the evening.

  2. I’ve been to these areas, and i love the picture of this city, reminiscing our cities years back. I wish your cities will and towns will not remove those trees just like what other countries cities did with theirs.

  3. Wow, this is SO far away from my own home in Sweden. LOVE to see it =)
