>Furry Friday #001: Max
This is my first entry for this week’s Furry Friday.
Max, half-breed Keeshond, age 8-10weeks old
When we brought her home, she was a very quiet dog and liked to keep to herself. This was taken days before she contracted distemper. A cocktail of injections was given by the vet to her everyday for 3months. Luckily, she survived. Except for her bad teeth and excessive shedding, she is very active and healthy.

The following pictures were taken by my husband when he did the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage on bicycle. He started from his hometown in England crossing the English Channel to France, Spain and Portugal – countries that comprise Western Europe. With his permission, I am sharing these pictures for this week’s Litratong Pinoy:

Cenfranc, just over the Pyreenes and into Spain

The Camino de Santiago de Compostelle, here alongside the N120 near Astorga, Northern Spain

Salvatierra de Minho, Spanish and Portuguese border
Sa susunod na taon ay inaasahan naming gawin muli ito subalit imbes na bisikleta ay maglalakad kami.
Next year, we are hoping to do the Camino pilgrimage together, this time, on foot.
You can visit my husband’s blog chronicling his cycling tour of western Europe.
>Wordless Wednesday #46: Kung Fu Swimmer
After swimming in Nai Harn beach for several hours, this little fellow (who happens to be my godson) didn’t run out of energy and insisted we also take a dip in their swimming pool. It lasted more than two hours. Mum and Dad could only smile, as this cute little rascal showed off his swimming skills to his Ninang (godmother) Z.

He calls it the Kung Fu jump, one of his many crazy jumps shown to me on that afternoon.
>Photo Hunt #26: Support
Coming back again for the PH after such a long time of being absent. My entry for this week is a photo of one of the towers of a lesser known temple Prey Rup found at the Angkor Wat complex. Shown in the photo is a re-assembled tower, a temple mountain design symbolically representing Mount Meru (characteristic of a Khmer classical architecture), the legendary home of Hindu gods.
Being one of the World Heritage Sites, the Cambodian government took measures to protect the temples. There have been several conservation projects supported by Japan, Germany, France and other countries that were implemented and some are still ongoing. As you can see in the picture, huge blocks of sandstone are precariously held together by what looked like a string. I wonder though, with all the support generated for the conservation project, could they get another string/rope strong enough to support the sandstone blocks from falling down?
