APAD 308: Ice cream!
I love ice cream! When the summer heat gets too unbearable, there are ice cream shops around the city to beat the heat and just, well chill.
Chill Ice Cream and Coffee Lounge is one of them and they’re easily spotted along the riverside. They have a good selection of ice cream flavours, however, not much to rave about. The ice cream was just alright. They also offer ice cream cakes, coffee and pastries.

Uh-Oh.
Traffic jam. This is one reason why I don’t really look forward to running errands around the city. It irritates me a lot (when I’m on car that is close to a stand still) knowing that I’m losing time but stop short of complaining and whining lest the negativity spread to my husband and ruin both our day.
What comes to your mind whenever you get caught in a jam and your car is close to a standstill?

There are a lot of bargain sales around Phnom Penh lately. There are hundreds of shops, if not more, selling clothes for men, women, and children all over Phnom Penh. Most are factory overruns and the rest come from Thailand, HK, and even China.
The above men’s shirts cost cost less than a fastfood budget meal. But out of these great number of shirts available, my main concern is not the price itself but getting the best quality out of these selections. If needs a good eye to spot the better ones and lots and lots of patience to go through the lot under the baking sun.

The national election will be held next month. Since last week, supporters of the different political parties in Cambodia have staged campaign activities all over the country.
Last Friday, these campaigners caused a huge traffic jam along the capital’s major thoroughfares. Hundreds (if not thousands) of commuters where stranded as convoys of rented trucks, Land Cruisers, and other vehicles rolled around the city with loud speakers blasting party jingles. I was among those unfortunate people who got stuck in traffic for more than an hour.
