APAD 361: Horrific
This week’s entry is a little bit somber as I post one of the signs I saw during a visit to the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek.

A thought-provoking sign that sends shivers to my spine. This photo is originally uploaded to my other blog, Sreisaat Adventures.

Some three years ago my husband and I embarked on a 700km-roadtrip southeast of Cambodia. Along the way we came across this beautiful place that, at that time, were “undergoing development”.
This is Kampong Trach Resort. It has several limestone mountains that contain caves that are worthy of a visit.
There are interesting rock formations as well as shrines in the caves.
Here are more pictures of what’s inside the Kampong Trach resort.
APAD 357: Daymoon
Every now and then, when I walk my dogs every morning, the moon is pretty much visible.
Why can we see the moon during daytime? According to this site:
The reason we can see the moon at all is because it reflects sunlight from its surface. The reason you can see it during the day is because it just happens to be in the part of its orbit where it is both in the sky and reflecting enough light for you to see. You might have noticed the closer to the horizon, the more moon you see during the day.
From now on, I’ll start paying attention to the sky and get ready with my camera. Who knows what else I might see up in the sky? 🙂 For more SkyWatch photos worldwide, click this logo below.

Have you ever seen a sign that makes you go… “seriously?” Well, this sign below fits into that category. Can you guess where this is? My brother found this while strolling at Otres Beach in Sihanoukville, Cambodia’s beachtown.
My brother was sorry he couldn’t tell me if the food there was any good (they walked past to go to another restaurant) but he said it’s picture-perfect and you can find humour in the restaurant’s name for sure.
