The thick, billowy clouds provided a dramatic backdrop for these old colonial buildings at the riverside.

Is it going to rain or shine?

The heavens could not decide, it seemed. The following night, however, it rained, much to our delight. It cooled down everything.

Fruits section – One of my favourite sections at the market where not only locally-grown fruits are sold but also imported ones from China, Vietnam and Thailand.

Fruit section at Psah Thmey (Central Market).

How about you, what’s your favourite section in your market?

APAD 031: Crafting with Sreisaat

This is what I’ve been doing lately – carving rubber erasers for stamping and designing cards. I’ve taken it upon myself to make our Christmas cards this year.

I love stamping! And crafting in general.

There’s something special about handmade cards (and other DIY stuff) and I love making them. They’re unique and fun to make. Each card is a product of inspiration, love, time and effort. And it’s something more precious or valuable than cards bought from the stores.

Crafting is so much fun, whether it is scrapbooking, card-making, crocheting, sewing, and others. Don’t you agree with me?

This old hotel building is in danger of getting torn down one day.

Operations has stopped a very long time ago. The ground floor is now rented out as residences or shops.

The fate of this building is yet unknown. But one thing is for sure, it will be gone one day.

APAD 012: Eating dust

I took this photo Friday last week. It was a lovely day for a roadtrip.

Cloudy and dusty.

But this morning, around the same time, we have a heavy downpour. Quite the opposite of last week’s weather. Moonsoon season is finally here:

Public swimming pool. Who wants to swim, eh?

Flash flood in my street. It is getting worse every year. I don’t fancy going out to do some errands.
