For the first time, I flew a kite last week. As in, on my own, without supervision. It was a quick decision and a good one at that. The weather cooperated, as you can see, and the clouds were giving us a good show! This is the delta kite that I flew. It’s made by my husband from materials bought locally.
The kite measures about 3meters in length and 1.5meters in height, and weighs around 600grams. Pretty big, alright but it was very light. It was up in the air, soaring up to probably a hundred meters, and it stayed there for a long time. Needless to say, I came home with my skin darker than before and with a tan line to boot. But it was fun.

Great Sky post. So lovely to see!
Have a nice day!
Wow, amazing! Enjoy your weekend.
What a fun SkyWatch photo! Your husband did a great job building that delta kite, and you did a great job flying it. Isn’t it therapeutic? I LOVE flying my kites! I do it more now as an adult than I ever did as a kid! 🙂
Looks like great fun!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
That is beautiful!! Love it!
