>Photo-Hunt #14 Old-fashioned – The 70s
>
Ok, I have to admit that challenged me. I know it’s quite easy for some but I had trouble deciding which to post. My husband helped me with this one; he offered some photos that his dad sent to us awhile ago. Thanks to Dad R, this is our choice for this week’s theme:
This photo reminds me of the Brady Bunch show… the 70s fashion and all. That’s my husband there when he was 8 years old. Also in the pic is his mum and dad and sister, and was taken in one of their family outings in the east coast of England.
Happy weekend, everyone.

>Photo Hunt #12 – Skinny Lily
>
Hello guys! Welcome to this week’s Photo Hunt. This week’s theme is skinny, and boy, oh boy, it’s a challenging one! Having thought long and hard, I decided to post my little Lily’s photo:
She fell off her bed, which is a rattan chair with cushion. Poor Lily. Her cries woke us up at 4am Sunday last week. We took her to the vet’s clinic… when we went back to get her, she was still groggy (she was put to sleep for surgery). My husband and I laughed upon seeing her because the cast is bigger than her leg… wait, it’s even bigger than she is! Look at how skinny her other legs are… 🙂
Before I forget, I’d like to thank Tnchick of the Photo Hunter for choosing my blog as the Site of the Day, and thanks to everyone who’ve visited and left comments. I feel like I am waltzing on pink clouds 😀

>I’m back for this week’s Photo Hunt. Apologies for missing last week as I was on the road again and couldn’t find an internet cafe so easily. Anyways, this week’s theme can be interpreted in many ways. Here’s mine for this week:
Don’t you just love the splash of colors?

Hi. I am currently in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and will be here for 8 days to attend a series of workshop organized by IDRC as well as participate in the Global Knowledge conference. Luckily, there is free internet in the hotel where I am staying so I was able to post this week’s photo hunt entry even if it’s a little, err, late.
This photo was taken in Kep town, Cambodia in September 2006, while my husband and I were walking up to our hillside guesthouse. It was nearly 5pm and the sun was minutes away from setting. While we were walking, I noticed our shadows. The sun was behind us that our shadows were elongated, making us look taller and skinnier. I have been fascinated by shadows since I was little and loved the times I spent playing and stomping on shadows with my playmates. Ahh those were the times 🙂
